Iam trying to locate family of my late Father William Nichol [Nicholl ] born May 13 1908. Son of Thomas Galloway Nicholl and Margaret Jane Nicholl formrrly Harrison of Dorney st Gateshead. He enlisted in The Northumberland Fusiliers 1926 to 1933.He married Violet Hopcutt at York in 1934.They had 3 children, he was killed on May 24th whilst serving in The N/F in France/ Belgium. My Mother later remarried and we lost contact with The Nichol side of the family.
