hello out there!
I am looking for ABYONE who knows ANYTHING about Frederick Preddy's sister.She probably came from Barnsley in Yorkshire. Her brother Frederick changed his name to Mills when he was about 16 yrs. He was born 1 jan 1902 and I am currentlu searching for his birth certificate to find his parents names. ANY information on this family would be very welcome!!!
If it helps Frederick had a brother called William who was born in 1904. Both Frederick and William were adopted or teken in by the same Mills family in kiveton,Sheffield around 1918. We think the sister stayed in Barnsley and we know she had a son because he visited my grandfather (his cousin)Derrick Mills a while ago.
Frederick Mills worked in the mines (Kiveton Pit).
If Derrick Mills' cousin is out there and knows anything about his mother and her family please contact me!!!!!!!!!!!!
