LEDEUX. Seeking info birth parents (or anyone with knowledge of Surname). Born London 1931 to Annie Blodwen
de Ledeux (nee Davies) of 90A Southill Park, Hampstead and
Camille Eugene Frederick de Ledeux, a motor and aircraft engineer of (possibly) Nottingham Abbotsbury, Dorset.
My father had divorced a Betty Stepanie de Ledeux (nee
Bennet) marrying my mother in July 1929 at Registry Office
District Willesden. My Grandfather (mother's side) was a
Robert Davies a Postmaster. Witnesses were Dora Stanley
and G.S. Taylor. I have (or had) a brother Camille Peter
born 5 Feb 1930 at the Queen Charlottes Hospital. My
father was then living at 18 Holmdale Rd, Hampstead.
I ended up at the National Childrens Orphange in Highbury. My mother died at the Hospital Barming Heath, UD (?) in 1934 aged 32. I was fostered out to the Champ family
in Hertford and subsequently adopted by them in 1939.
Above is the only known info and despite searches worldwide
over the years have never come across name de Ledeux.
