My name is Sara Sutherland and I live in Toronto Canada. I have a son named Ian, who I adopted when he was 10 years old. This was his second adoption so I don't know anything about his background. His previous adoptive parents were from England and I know he was adopted there before they emmigrated to Canada.
Ian is now 40 years old.
This morning when I came downstairs, there was a photocopy of a picture of him on the kitchen table. When I looked more closely, it was a photocopy of the television listings from the Daily Telegraph of January 11, 1993. The caption under the photo says: "Ch4: 9:00 pm Cutting Edge. Man of mystery: Mr. Spong, buried in a pauper's grave."
My son looks like a clone of this man in every way, except Ian wears his hair longer than was fashionable when this picture was taken.
I haven't spoken with Ian today, so I have no idea where he got the picture. I decided to do a search on the internet, to see if I could find any information on Mr. Spong, and came up with 40,700 websites!
I would be very grateful if anyone has any information about this man who was buried in a pauper's grave.
Thanks.
Sara
