just updating my last message i have located my mother sylvia alice athorn.she has a mental illness and has been in care for at least 15years.i want to know what happened to her mother dorothy athorn she would be in her 80s if shes still alive.they lived at 13 narbuth street crupsall/cheetham in manchester from1935-1970s then they moved to a flat in hulme/moss side when they got relocated by the housing commision,as narbuth st got torn down.dorothys maiden name was hurd and her family came from the swinton area of salford.i live in australia so it is very hard to find everything out.for all i know i could even have siblings out there,allthough i have found my mother i cant even communicate with her as her illness is very severe .her father was killed in the war and her mother was still a widow 30 years ago,but may have remarried
i want to find out what happend to my mother to cause her to be in such a condition.
