GI Grandfather sought...My mother was born to Margaret, Lindsay, Alberta, Brooks in Plymouth area (Devon) in November 1945...My mother was consequently adopted...Trying to find the family..Both American and UK side. Does this jog anyones memory? Margaret went on to marry a George Newton in 1957 in Plymouth...Apparently American Grandfather was very high ranking Officer? Possibly 'shot down' after February 1945?
