I am looking for any information on Mollie Adams, born in Cardiff, approximately September 1919. She gave birth to a son sometime around 1940's at Elmslie, Salvation Army Mother's Home, in Liverpool. On leaving the home her address was 108 Manchester Road, Bury, Lancs. The baby was named Paul Adams, but I have a feeling he may have been adopted and obviously changed names.
Fifthteen years later in December 1957 she gave birth to a daughter (me) at the same nursing home in Liverpool. I was registered at birth as Christine Ruth Adams, her address given on the birth certificate was 'The vicarage' Gislingham. Suffolk.
I was adopted by a couple from Blackburn (who incidentally were Salvationist themselves). When my Mother left the nursing home several weeks after my birth no forwarding addrss was given.
I realise time may be running out for me ever finding my mother alive as she will be in her eighties now. If anyone has any information on the names mentioned or advise on how I can take my search further I would be very appreciative.
