My name is Linda Tobin i am trying to find my cousin Sandra Jones's half sister her birth name was Joanne Smith her date of birth was 11.7.1945, her place of birth was 2 Grove Road Richmond .On the birth certificate is says mother Anne Litchfield no occupation of d 41 Sandycombe Road North Sheen Richmond another address on the birth certificate for the mother was The Cottage Connaught Avenue East Sheen .Joanne was adopted and sent back to the home because it came out that she was Italian American and the family did not want her .Then we think she was adopted by a Doctor and his wife who had adopted another child .The orphanage that she was sent back to were prosecuted for neglect on the children in the home .Joanne was said to have been adopted when she was about 1yr .
