I am seeking my birth mother - MEGAN JOHNSON who I believe was born in 1946, was employed as a secretary at the time of my birth and lived in Leicester. I was born on 19 April 1965 (and named HANNAH) in Leicester General Hospital and was adopted at the age of 6 weeks by Ron and Janet Belsey and then moved to London - The adoption was made on a private basis through a friend of both families called Ron Bicker and was legalised in Nov 1965. After a somewhat turbulent childhood!, I have been extremely lucky and have a successful career as well as a wonderful husband and two wonderful children. Despite this, I have always been curious about my birth parents, however, I have no wish to intrude in anybody's private life and would respect any such wishes. However, I would like to know where my long toes and my crooked ear come from (inherited by both of my children!). I would be grateful for any information about my birth mother or her family and would welcome contact.
