I am searching for my birth parents, who left me outside a police station in London, on january 21st 1945. my age was estimated to be 1 month, so was thought to be born ca december 21, 1944. the name 'winifred ann west was pinned to my clothing, and I was placed in an orphanage at that time, somewhere in london england, till 1952. I would like to obtain a list of orphanages in london, england at that time, or any other assistance you can offer me. thank you.
