I am Trying to find my Birth Mother. Her name was DOROTHY MAY BARRETT, she was a private nurse and most likely in her early 20's. I was born SUSAN RAYE BARRETT, on AUGUST 8, 1946 and given up for adoption in BOURNEMOUTH. I recently found out that late in life, after an accident, she walked using a cane.
If anyone knows of this person, or has any information regarding my birth please contact me. My adopted name was Margaret Anthea Gilmour. I am now known as Maggie Barrett. With gratitude for any information.
