I am trying to find out if my Father was adopted when his Father remarried. My Grandfather Frank White,(Widower) married Louisa Gertrude Popplewell June 2, 1912. They were married in Little Elford Parrish Church, County of Essex. My Father Harold Arthur White was born on December 25, 1901 in Staffordshire. He had two brothers William Albert, and Frank Jr. William and Albert served in WW1 so I don't think that they would have been adopted, but I feel that as my Father was eleven years old it is quite possible that he was adopted. They moved to Canada either in 1912 or shortly after, but before WW1. I would appreciate any information pertaining to this matter. Thank you.
