To all the wonderful people who have been kind enough to email me with your thoughts and best wishes, a whole hearted thank you.

There is to be a second reading of the adoption bill this coming Friday, I am no longer living in the Uk, heck I am so much an American I am right now drinking Iced Tea, for shame!! Perhaps if we all as regular participants wrote to the Downing Street Web Site and let our feelings be known we might make a little difference. the address is Webmaster@pmo.gov

I have taken the advice of one of the writers and sent a copy of the posting to the Daily Telegraph, I am not looking for publicity for myself, just fair and just treatment that has been so long in coming.

An interesting aside that the birth mothers might be interested in, I asked a theological question the other day to two friends of mine, one a rabbi and the other a doctor, I asked "what is the right thing for me to do on my daughter's birthday, should I light a birthday candle or a memorial candle' The answer from both was "neither" Since they are both males I realize that as such they have no comprehension what birth mothers feel, And it is males who are writing the adoption bill!!

Thanks again

Rosalind
