Dear Olivia:

Happy 18th birthday, my beloved daughter (born Luton, BEDS, October 1983). If you're ever curious enough about your ancestry to use this website, your father (Gerald Montagna) hasn't forgotten you - far from it. He prays for you fervently every day, and dreams about you almost every night. You can't imagine how much he loves you, and so does the rest of his family although they have never seen you. I'll never know why God allowed you to be taken from me so tragically and unjustly, and I barely made it through the experience alive; but God taught me to trust Him no matter what happens in life and He healed my heart of the grief one day in 1994. Since then I've placed your life in His hands and intercede in prayer for you all the time. If you ever need anything, we're here for you. If you ever need a job, your uncle Gary in Dallas, Texas would be happy to take you into the family business, or you could work part-time for him and go to college. As we say here, the ball is in your court! We're all here for you if you need us.

My email is geraldrm@earthlink.net, or you may write me at 144-62 25th Drive, Flushing, NY USA 11354, or call me (don't be alarmed that the answering machine message is in Spanish) at (718) 460-4360. Your grandparents Rosario and Sadie Montagna live at 4549 Ringgold Lane, Plano, Texas, 75093-3949, phone (972) 612-2118. Your uncle Gary lives at 7729 Case Drive, Plano, Texas 75025, (972) 618-9387. Since I don't know when (if ever) you will have the desire to get in touch with us, I should warn you that I have some health concerns; if someday you try to reach me and can't, I will have gone to be with Jesus. But if that happens, you still should contact my parents and brother, who are very willing to welcome you into the family and do anything they can for you.

One other thing -- even if you don't want to contact us, don't forget you are an American citizen. The fact that a foreign government changed your name did not in any way affect your citizenship, I have already checked that out. You may find someday that this may be very advantageous to you in your future career, in college, or even just in taking a vacation. Contact the American Embassy and get yourself an American passport.
.
Olivia, you're always on my mind, and whether I ever see you or hear from you again in this lifetime, you will be my beloved daughter till the day I die. God keep you will!
