I'm looking for my late stepsister's child,probably immpossible with the little information I have.Her name(sisters) was Jean Simmons born I think in 1930 and had a daughter I think in 1945.She lived with her next door nieghbours her parents having both died. Since they lived at Chagford Rd on Whitely Estate Reading the child would be registered in Reading. 2 weeks after she was born she and her "step"mother went to London and placed the child for adoption.The people she (Jean) lived with were Violet and William Masterman( I married one of their sons who is now dead)This isn't much to go on but would appreciate any shred of information.
