My gan is searching for her birth family who lived in
Marylebone London. Her parents John William and Esther Maud
Scales were married in 1921 and were killed in a bombing in
1940 they had 16 children
between 1922 and 1939.
My gran was the youngest and two brothers were also killed.
She was adopted by Wilfred and Grace Brooks aged 1 year.
Any information would be appreciated.
