Are you out there somewhere? I really hope so I am looking for my half brother. You were born 7th January 1954 at the Lying.in hospital York Rd in the registration district of Lambeth London UK. Your birth name was Stephen Patrick Joyce and your mother was Eileen Theresa Elizabeth Joyce born 1st October 1928. Your name was changed at your baptism to David Patrick Joyce on the 24th January 1954.
From what I have been able to find out or rather info I've been allowed to have you were fostered in Sept 1955 and later adopted in?1958. Your records are held at the London Metropolitan Archives but they will not release your adopted name to me.
If I have found you or someone recognises you as their husband,dad,friend or you yourself read this please make contact I am your little sister born in 1955.
I have a lot of info on the maternal side of our family and had contact with our mother.
I hope someone reads this and it rings a bell and they contact me. I have made many enquiries but have come up against the law that says I cannot have David's new adopted name.
