To all involved in the adoption triad.
The Dept of Health has an October 2000 circular "Intermediary services for birth realtives" Practice Guidelines.
It is available free of charge from the Doh and it is on line at their adoption web site.
I personally found it very interesting and very useful.
For all involved in the search, it is well worth the effort.
