Mum started out as a foundling called Beatrice Barnes at Parkside Orphanage, Richmond, London, UK.
She was fostered, but not adopted, by Mr. & Mrs. Heardman of Avondale Road, Mortlake.
Does anyone have any information regarding the orphanage or St. Vincent's Hospital (where she worked 1937/8) or GE at Wembley (also worked 1938/9)
