I am seeking the British Army Number for my late mother, nee Florence Annie Dearden. I believe she joined the British Army during the Second World War, as a nurse (Theatre Sister). She had previously worked as an industrial nurse in places like Wolverhampton, and Whitam (for Crittall). I believe mum served in postwar Germany with the Army, in Iserlohn in the Ruhr. Dad was in the Royal Navy and his remains are in the military plot at Waikumete Cemetery, Auckland New Zealand. We wish to lay mum to rest beside dad, but need her Army number first.
Can anyone help, or provide pointers as to where to enquire?
