Looking for records of George William Jeffery born Nov. 22, 1910 Bexhill-on=Sea Christened in 1911 at Westcliffe-on-sea with a relative of the same age "Arthur" or possibly a twin. George William was adopted (we are sure) by George Henry Jeffery and Lily Esther (deNeumann) who were married in 1901.
He attended Margage College in 1924 (newspaper clipping of his prowess in Soccer) and joined the Palestine Police in 1930(contacted)
His father was an accountant for Liptons (Yelverton Plantation)and then became a general tea merchant in London (Messers Geo,.Jeffery & Son) although I cannot find any business records. HIS father was George Jeffery (Carpenter) who married Susan Freeman in 1868
