I am trying to trace my son. He was born at 11 10pm on Tuesday the 9th March 1976 at Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe.I want to tell him, first of all, how sorry I am for being compelled to give him up for adoption. There isn't a day goes by that i don't think of him.He was named Philip Mark, registered locally, and a Catholic Adoption Agency arranged the adoption. I knew he was living in Lytham and was re named by his adoptive parents Julian, Philip. He has a brother 4 years older than himself, also adopted. I think. I also found out that his parents were linked to education and that he would want for nothing in his future. His father lives locally and is contactable too. I have no other children but his father has 3.A couple of years ago, I contacted the agency and went to talk to them. I found them patronising and very unsypathetic and unhelpfull.I left feeling wretched and emotionally devastated. I told them i didn't want contact because i didn't want them to do the same thing to my son. If you are out there, and you do want contact, e mail me.......much love Julian
