I was born on 14 APRIL 1944 - My mother's name was Joan Irene APPLEBY (maiden name). She was a domestic servant and lived 4 Belgrave Rd, Birmingham S. She gave birth to me in Maltby, Yorkshire. I was named Leon Thomas (my adopted surname being Smith). I don't think I was adopted out until a year or so of age. Any information greatly appreciated!
