I am looking for my birth father, but don't know his name. My mother's name is JEAN SHERIDAN. Around 1949 he lived in BRIGHTON area, was an insurance salesman and married with 3 daughters. My Mum was Irish and 23 at the time and was training as a nursing aid at Brighton Hospital, he may have been an inpatient there. I look more like Dad than my Mum and I have his "gift of the gab", so there must be 3 other women that have the same talents! Mum left for Portsmouth to have me in March 1950 and subsequently I was adopted. My father knew of my existence as he wanted to marry Mum, but she wouldn't allow it as didn't want to break up his family because of the girls. My mother passed away before I found her side of the family, and no-one knows his name, although they did recall her speaking about a love-made-in-heaven match but he was married. Had excellent reunion with my mother's family, and would now like to meet Dad. If any of this rings a bell, please email no matter now trivial the information may seem to you! Many thanks.
