I am looking for my birth mother. She was staying at an establishment in Milnthorpe, Westmorland (Cumbria)England, where I believe pregnant mothers stayed whilst they were waiting for the birth of the baby, and then adopted out. I was born Elizabeth Ann Conlan, 3rd July 1962. The only info I have on her is that her surname was also Conlan. I am now 39 and feel its time to know my real heritage and thank the lady who gave birth to me.
If anybody else out there has any information on the adoption agency or the area of Milnthorpe, I would love to hear from you. Regards Liz.
