Yesterday I met my half-sister for the first time. She drove 2 hours to meet me and we sat and talked for about 7 hours. She showed me dozens of photos of my birth mother (who died in 1996) and told me so much about her: there are lots of similarities in both looks and personality.
People - never give up. I doubted that this day would ever come but it has.
Thanks to Julie whose help hasbeen invaluable and to Ros in California for moral support.
There's a community here, guys, let's try and help each other.
