MICHAEL IAN SMITH was your given name and registered the same on your birth certificate. You were born November 4, 1970 in Dellwood Maternity Home, Reading, Berkshire. Your birth mother (me) was listed as Lesley Smith. Your final adoption was May 1971, I believe through Sevenoaks County Court. Oxford Diocese originally handled case, but papers are now with CHILDLINK in London. I have registered with NORCAP. Don't want to upset you or your Family, but think of you every day and hope that you had a happy upbringing, and I selfishly need to know that I did the right thing.
