Looking for any info on the arrival of the Betterley family in America. One rumour maintains that Thomas Betterley was born in England circa 1695 and came with his mother to America at about the age of 18 months. He married Elizabeth Alden at Kings Chapel in Boston in 1720. Another rumour says that three brothers came to America from England in the early 1700s. Does any of the Betterley family in England have family legends of their relatives leaving for America? Thank you.
