Seeking families of Robert SMITH, b. 11 March, 1829 in YKS, married Mary REDFERN, b. 23 June, 1816 Middleton ENG. They married prior to 1841. Children all born in ENG: twins Ann and Margaret, b. circa 1841, Hester, b. circa 1843, Mary Ann, b. 3 December, 1844, son Francis, b. circa 1848. The family emigrated from Liverpool to New York, arriving March, 1849. They were living in Argyle, LaFayette County, WI by 1855 State census records. I am descendant of Mary Ann (SMITH) JACOBS who married Edward JACOBS 27 November, 1867 in Argyle, WI.
