Searching for the birth place and birth parents of Tanquer LeGalle, b. 15 Mar 1852 in France. He Married Mary Augustine Richet(b. 14 Jul 1859 St. Anne, Alderney, Channel Islands) in about 1883. They lived with Mary's parents, John B. and Bonne Richet on a farm in St. Anne. In 1889 Tanquer, Mary and their dau. Marie Frances (b. 2 Jan 1884 St. Anne) sailed to the United States, arriving in Portland, Oregon. Both the LeGalle and Richet families list their birth place only as "France". My gfather, Eugene LeGall was born in Portland, Oregon 28 Aug 1891. My father, Eugene Jerome LeGall was born in Portland in 1913.
