looking for information on private james nicholson, formerly of 217 settle st bolton lancashire.an old volunteer jioned the King's liverpool regiment soon after war broke out and went to the Isle of Man. mrs nicholson has received word from Major d Ashton that her husband died from pneumonia and was buried with full military honours on the Isle of Man
This we know from a newspaper clipping although we don't know which newspaper or any dates.
we think his son Tom and wife ethel moved to Rhode island other sons were Charlie, Billie and John. His daughters were Alice moved to Oaklahoma,and Mary(Polly). If anyone has any information I would be very grateful thankou
