GEORGE JAMES DAY

Lost touch with Family 36years ago

Born 4th October 1937

Family home was in Edbrook Road

Paddington London W9.

Served in 2nd Royal Tank Regiment

1955-1966

After many years of searching for my brother we has discovered

that from 8th June he was employed as chef at a Pub in

Brentwood in Essex, leaving there by taxi on Saturday 21st

August 1999 and being taken to Stratford Bus Station about 11

am on that morning.

He is about 5ft 7ins dark complexion (often mistaken for

Spanish/Italian) now very thin, quite gaunt and does not look

well, his weight is estimated to be less than 8 stone. His hair is

still very dark slightly receding and combed back.

He is a smoker, and is known to be interested in horse and

greyhound racing.

He is probably working as a chef ,possibly in the London area.

Sometime he is said to have worked in Spain.

His previous employer mentioned that one of the "starters" that

he introduced on his menu was Deep fried Brie and Onion

marmalade, he also would not serve peas with his meals!

He does not drive and uses taxis frequently.
