I am carrying out the UK.Branch of the BYRNE Family History Research which developed in Rosamund Street, SALFORD, Manchester, Lancs.commencing during the 1840s.
My Great Uncle Joseph BYRNE, born on 25-02-1859, married Honoria Josephine HAWTHORNE in ENNISKILLEN, Northern Ireland on 10-09-1882.
Joseph eventually became a SQMS in the 108th Regt of the British Army.
They had 3 children. Katherine was born in Queen Street, ENNISKILLEN on 10-06-1883, Charles Joseph was born at 7, Kirwan Street, DUBLIN on 31-01-1890 and Henry Edward was born at 81, Married Quarters, Arbour Hill, DUBLIN on 15-04-1891.
Joseph retired from the Army on 24-07-1900 and was Discharged from NETLEY, Hants.
I would be very pleased to receive any information about the children and their descendants who, hopefully, are still with us.
