Search for Lost Relative Last heard from just prior to World War II. Note there is no record of him in any of the British Armed Forces nor is there any record of him killed during the war as a civilian. Note all information from official British Birth or record certificates so most likely correct.

Father's Father [Grandfather]: Michael James Byrne; born: 1867, Deptford Central, London Father's Mother [Grandmother]: Jane Hannah Dalman
It is a puzzle that the three sisters [Jessie, Dorothy & Winifred Byrne] all lived at the Convent of the Holy Family, while both parents were still alive, living together, and yet the son, James [father of Peter James] Byrne, apparently lived at home with the parents. The Convent has no records left from the destruction of the war; however, my written inquiry was answered; the oldest nun still alive at the convent did remember the Byrne sisters. They actually sent me a picture of Jessie Byrne living at the convent.
Winifred May Byrne Kehoe, her husband & two daughters emigrated to the USA in 1927.
