I am trying to find relatives of our late dad "Leslie Brooks" (deceased) born 10 October 1924, in Farnworth Lancashire. His fathers name was William Scholes Brooks of 2 Gorton Street Farnworth. I beleive my grandfather had a brother who emigrated to Australia and became or worked for the Harbour Master in Sydney. My father was brought up by his grandparents on his mothers side, surname "Armstrong" as his father was killed in a mining accident when he was very young. We don't have much info so anyone who can help us, my brothers William, Paul and myself Rosemary will be grateful.
