CRIPPS Joseph and Caroline (nee Hillsdon). I am researching my Cripps family history. Joseph and Caroline were married in Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire on 16 May,1842. They had several children: Sarah, William, Joseph, Jonas, Emma, Margaret, Clara Ann, Alfred Charles, Eli James and Jabez John. Sarah (Mrs Alfred CANNON), William, Joseph and Emma immigrated to Australia in 1873. Joseph married Sarah Elizabeth TAYLOR at Waddesdon, on 17 October, 1870. Joseph and Sarah are my great great grandparents. I have a photo thought to be Caroline Cripps (nee HILLSDON) taken during World War 1. She was 93 years. Also some of the family apparently were living at Hemmel Hempstead at this time. I am interested in hearing from anyone researching the CRIPPS, HILLSDON or TAYLOR families or from anyone descended from Joseph and Caroline CRIPPS. Looking forward to replies. Margaret Hertweck
