I am interested to know more about the orgins of the Bestwick family. I have noticed in search engines, many people with this last name live in UK, particularly the area of Nottingham. I am the great-great-great grandson of one James Bestwick who immigrated to the US from England; however, we have not been able to make the connection between the US and the UK. I would like to know of anyone who has family records e.g. family bible. Information about James Bestwick is available in www.familysearch, a web site maintained by the Mormans.
When the Bestwick's came to the US, they were farmers and coal miners in Western Pennsylvania. They settled in the US in the early 1800's.
