Stevens/Allen surnames. I'm looking for info on my greatgrandmother. Her name was Ellen Allen. She married John Thomas Stevens and they had four children, Florence, Thomas, James and Robert. John and the three older children came to America around 1920. Ellen may have remarried and had other children. If anyone has an Ellen in their family who had a son named Robert, born in the early 1900's whose first husband abandoned her, please contact me.
