NUGENT or MCHUGH families. I am looking for information regarding my g.grandparents EDWARD NUGENT and MARY MCHUGH. They had three children, Edward, James and Sarah. They were living in Stockton on Tees, Durham in 1883 when James was born. MARY MCHUGH was born around 1855 in SCOTLAND. It is believed that EDWARD was born in IRELAND. It is likely that they were married in SCOTLAND about 1872.
The younger Edward joined the British Navy in 1915 and was never heard of again, presumed drowned. If anyone has any connections or is able to help in any way I would very much appreciate it. Thanking you in advance.
