My Father and I are trying to trace our family ( Bilney)ancestory in England. There were two Bilneys who left England for Australia.
These were George Bilney (with his wife Ann) who came from the County of Norfolk. They left Plymouth by ship "SS Duke of Wellington" for Australia on 8th November 1849.
The other was Thomas Bilney (not the Martyr) who also left Plymouth by ship "Agincourt" on 1st Feb 1850. He came from Walsoken, Norfolk.
If anyone has traced their family tree (Bilney) we would love to hear from you so as we can piece our family together.
My father will be in England in July to also spend a little bit of time researching as well. So if you have any info this would save my father time whilst he is on holiday's.
