I was born in Richmond, Yorkshire,England,and for some reason, my grandfather's family was a BIG secret. HIS name was Thomas Spencer, and his wife's ame was Margaret ????. I don't know if he had any brothers or sisters, or who my great-great grandparents were etc. There are so many Thomas's, I don't know where else to turn. I don't know where he was born, but obviously, he was!! LOL! Thomas had a stationary and Printing shop in Richmond. My father, Harris Hawkins took it over from his brother Bert after the old man died. I think, Thomas died about 6 months afer I was born, in 1931. But, who knows??? Is therre ANYBODY out there who can give me a clue how to find out my families history?? PLEASE! I am not getting any younger, and I would like to pass this information on to my children before I die. I have searches the Geneology records with the Morman church, but have not had any luck. Is there a site in the UK who I could contact, and perhaps glean some information?? I will be in your debt forever who ever you are. Thank you.
