If there is anyone out there who knows anything about Bertram Garside who was born in England, quite possibly Manchester, in about 1884. His mother was Mrs. Elizabeth Garside. He married Adelaide Cole,born 1891. They had a son named Sid before moving to Ontario Canada. Bertram was killed in WW1 in 1918 and is buried in France.Bertram and Adelaide were my grandparents and I am trying very hard to trace my roots but to no avail.
