Someone in my family had an estate Right in the center of Bristol on the other side of the canal. They were disowned by other family members because he lived with a woman there out of wedlock. After he died only the eldest son of the eldest son could claim it. It was put in chancory (I don't know if I spelt that right) for 99 years. Noone claimed it because they thought it was a scandel. Of course noone would care now. But I was trying to see if anyone might be able to see if they could find out the location and history of this family. I believe the name was Harris.
