Looking for information on the children of Sir William Fleetwood, Recorder of London during the reign of Elizabeth I. He purchased Missenden Abbey/Great Missenden in Bucks. and, dying either in 1593 or the early 1600s, was buried there. So far I have found that he had 4 children, namely Thomas Fleetwood, William Fleetwood, Cordelia Foulis, and Elizabeth Chaloner. I am trying to find info. on Edward and Francis Fleetwood, who are supposed to also be his children. Can anyone confirm that they are? Edward left England for Jamestown, Virginia on May 8, 1609 and died there that year. Francis died in Norfolk, Virginia in 1691, though I have no idea how/when he got there. I am trying to discern the relationship between Francis and Edward. With death dates like these, they could not have been brothers, now could they?? Does anyone have any info. on either of them? If so, please e-mail me. -Kris Fleetwood
