I am searching for an Ahijah Willey,b. approx. 1753, in Eng.
I know that's not a lot to go on, I have search all the Willey genealogies I can find in the USA, with no luck. He
lived in Vermont and New York. His son Eber b. 1797, Vermont, served in the War of 1812, NY, then moved to Monroe Co.VA (WV) after the war.
If anyone should run across a Willey family with the names,
Eber,Ahijah,Joseph,Seth,Phoebe. As they had a tendency to name children after family members. Ahijah married Susannah
(Susan) Grant. I know this is a long shot, but one never knows. Thanks.
