I am looking for information on WILLIAM RALPH KNOX born in Sunderland late 19th Century. Served as a gunnery sergeant in the field artillery in First World War. He was married with a family but split up from his family when one of his sons, my grandfather, was aged 10yrs. Particularly interested to know if he had brothers or sisters, or what happened to him following his split with his family.
