I am researching the surname Teale. They have an English history dating to at least the 1700's in and around London;there is a street in London named Teale. At one time they were associated with Rye Tavern. The spelling of Teale in my line has remained constant so it is my belief that anyone who spells their name the same has to be related, we just need to make the connections and draw the lines. I would welcome any information from or about any Teale. The first Teale in my line who came to the U. S. was Frederick, with his wife Diana Hamm Teale, approximatley 1837. Frederick returned to London approximately 1855 to settle his father's estate and died in London approximately 1872.
