I am searching for Edward ASHWORTH married Ellen BARNES late 1830's early 1840's. There may have been other children but I know of only 2, Samuel born around 1843 and Frederick born Sept 1845. Both brothers turn up in central MASS USA in the early 1860's. Samuel enlisted in the Union Army in 1865. Frederick died in 1881. Death certificate states "killed by cars". does anyone know what this might mean? Any info on the Ashworth/Barnes names will be greatly appreciated. I have really hit the stone wall with this group. thanks
