Have been searching different sites looking for some bit of information
on my ancestors, my ggrandfather was born 1844 near or in Newbury and the
same with my ggrandmother, but she was born in 1853 or give or take a
couple of years. He was in the British Army that served over in India,
I know this as I have a diary of his while over there. It is from 1874
to 1877, my ggrandmother's mother's name(last) was Hermon. Ggrandfather's name
is Arthur William Clarkson and my ggrandmother's name was Sarah Jane Hermon.
Any hints of where I could begin to look I would appreciate it.
