I am searching for Renee~Ironsides,she was a volunteer nurse during Normandy Beach storm, WWII. She helped Lewis Anderson,purple-heart vet,when he was wounded during the first wave to hit the beach.He woke up in a hospital I believe to be in Harrogate,England,possibly one of the old spa's since they were used for rehabilating wounded soldiers.He had only dog tags and tattered uniform,no money ,etc..to purchase razor to shave ,toothbrush or comb.This lady gave him these items .They became close friends and took outings together when he was able to walk again.We would like any leads or info to her possible whereabouts.Thanks!
